Night Safari

We have a cool theme park in Singapore ... the name? Night Safari.

This is one thing about Singapore that I am mighty proud about. This is one tourist attraction that I do not feel like it is a trap, and that it is not trying to rip me off.

Why? It is professionally designed, and conceptualized. It is a theme park that trusts its customer who will behave even given the closeness they can get to the animals. They dare to think big, and they dare to execute. Not like many other places where corners are cut to save costs, they are willing to spend to polish the place, and trust that the higher fee that they charge will justify its exhibits. They do not make you feel like they are ripping you off because you enter the place and you feel like it is worth every single cent you put in.

Do you hear people complaining about Disneyland being a rip off? Yes they are expensive, but once you've entered the place, you can literally do anything you want without fearing that you'll be subjected to other "hidden" costs. Night Safari is very close to replicating that "not being ripped off" feel.

I've been there thrice .. and I would love to bring more people back there again - Singaporeans and tourists alike.

What's so cool about the night safari? It is so dark you can't see shit. Other than being there to feed mosquitoes, I can't say I remember much from my visits. Let's face it there are NO attractions in Singapore worth any visitor's time. Just hit the hawker centers and eat your fill - that is your best bet of a Singapore vacation. =P

Agree thoroughly, animal 1.

Furthermore, I am not paid for working the night shift. What happened to my union rights?

;P

Well ... I do agree food is probably one of the best thing to show visitors when they're here .... the thing is, too much of something kills everything .. a friend who came by recently, did nothing but travelling from one place to another to eat eat eat ... cos that's what her friend planned for her only ..
i felt so sorry for her ...

And when u say that there are no attractions in Singapore worth any visitor's time ... really .. i think you're looking at it from a Singaporean's perspective ... I used to think that until I realised .... man .. they have never seen things which we've taken for granted ... for instance ... Little India, Mustafa and the Crocodile farm.

As for your criticism abt the night safari, i bet u must have been suffering from night blindness. Go eat some carrots.

Man you guys really think it is cool to be a night safari animal? not only do I have to work night shifts, I have to parade myself in front of people every night. Kinda felt like an adult book store cubicle show...

You are right about the night blindness part I am blind in fact. It sucks to be a bat.
