Fortune telling, Tarot cards blah blah ....

Now recently I had a friend of mine who visited my restaurant and brought along a shrink of sorts who dabbles in tarot cards. Now this is entertainment. I do have a few questions and I wondered if it can gimme some straight answers. Now that night's experience, left me feeling like I had dealt with some politician. You cannot get any damn straight answers from the cards. And the shrink who reads from the book trying to explain what she claims to be as "clear as the skies" (it happens to be raining that very night), is like a politician who tries to convince you that she knows you more than you know yourself. And she gimme 2 paragraphs of crap when I am asking for a straight Yes or No answer. I told her, nevermind what the book says. You tell me is this YES or NO? And the battle rages on .....

She will try to say things like "Are you sure?", "What makes you think you know yourself" and shit like that. Then she tries to tell you what your problem is. Reverse psychology. Instill self doubts, then impose their opinions, which would make them seem like they are the wiser one.

Well granted, people who ask questions at tarot cards reading or fortune tellers do so because they are not sure, or have doubts about any issue. However, I do hope that the receipient, keep a clear mind and do not subject themselves to purely accepting those crytic answers as the WORD. Feel free to reject any ideas that might not seem/feel right, and never succumb to the psychological trap which they set up for you. REMEMBER, if the shrink can't offer you a straight answer, this is because THE SHRINK DOES NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. I still have questions which I want answered, but if anyone knows any shrink who can do better and not gimme some crap load of "are you sure???", please pass on the contacts. :) I would love to explore the unknown. :)
