You...It's a pity you did not attend any rallies ... You should have attended and make the judgement for yourself ...

The opposition was not crap .. the issues they raised were valid and if anything, you should attend the rallies just to listen to the rebuttals, as most of the time, the PAP hog the headlines with accusations with little coverage for the opposition to rebuke. With the little representation of the opposition in the media, you shouldn't assume everything the PAP claims to be true.

However, one thing I think the oppositions could improve on, is the way they do their speeches and presentations. They should go for classes to make them look more "pro" :) . Though admittedly, they had improved over the years. And you would have to see beyond the mediocre language skills and see the content of the speeches to judge their worthiness. One of PAP's strengths is in the way their market and present their image. Though it may start to linger on the edge of over "slickness" and and thus loses that sense of being heartland.Yee-wei Chaihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10607118963494740585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8827849.post-1146814413486410782006-05-05T15:33:00.000+08:002006-05-05T15:33:00.000+08:00Too bad I didn't attend any rallies, but my friend...Too bad I didn't attend any rallies, but my friend who attended most of the rallies, said the opposition was cr*p, anything to say about that? were they really cr*p?Eucharisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11178001041774695312noreply@blogger.com
